With the world we live in today, time is of the essence. Once you are done your days duties (working, taking care of kids, running errands), it leaves very little time for yourself. Trying to fit in time for your fitness on someone else’s schedule is even harder (gym’s business hours, class times, the time it takes to travel to and from the gym). Let me take care of structuring your workouts and your nutritional needs around YOUR schedule, YOUR equipment, and YOUR goals. All you must do is put in the work!
After an initial intake questionnaire and conversation, we will determine the direction we need to take in order to reach your health and fitness goals. Working together as a team, we will come up with a long-term, sustainable program built around your specific needs and goals. Instead of trying to fit you into a generic “one-size-fits-all” program, I create the whole program around YOU. Through frequent check-ins, consistency, and client-driven feedback we will measure progress and make adjustments to continue that progress in the future.
About Coach John Creveling
I graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park in the Spring of 2011. In college, I fell in love with the gym while trying to get back into shape after not playing sports and being inactive for a few years (you know, the typical college experience). After graduation, I began coaching full time. After coaching and personally training people in various gyms in Maryland, I became the Head CrossFit Coach and CrossFit Program Director at RJF CrossFit in Wheeling, West Virginia from 2014-2016. In 2016, I accepted a General Manager position at CrossFit Cove in Columbia, Maryland and worked in that position from 2016-2020. During that time, I trained and created individual programming for a wide variety of clientele, from ages 7-70, from beginners that had never stepped foot in a gym to professional athletes, and in between, as well as people from all over the world. I also worked with clients individually on their nutrition and ran several successful nutrition programs.
Helping my clients achieve their individual health and fitness goals is my passion. I love seeing the look on a client’s face when she or he is able to achieve a physical feat that she or he previously thought was not physically possible. The confidence that my clients gain in their fitness spills over into their personal and professional lives and I enjoy being a part of that journey. After training and nutrition coaching in person for the past decade, I am making the transition to online coaching so I can have an even bigger reach and help as many people as I can.
